<p class="C1">&#65279AMR&#298K SI&#7748GH, a Jambar Ja&#7789&#7789 of Maghi&#257&#7751&#257 in Lahore district, was a devoted Sikh of the time of Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh. Bh&#257&#299 Santokh Si&#7749gh, <i>Sr&#299 Gur Prat&#257p S&#363raj Granth</i>, lists him among those who received baptismal rites on the day the <u>Kh</u>&#257ls&#257 was initiated (30 March 1699). Amr&#299k Si&#7749gh, according to Bh&#257&#299 Santokh Si&#7749gh again, took part in Gur&#363 Gobind Si&#7749gh's first battle at Anandpur in 1700.</p>
